1. Data Entry Operator cum Telephone Operator: 08 Posts
2. Multi Tasking Staff: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Age should be in between 18-33 years for male Candidates and 18-38 years for Female Candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass Intermediate for the post of Data Entry Operator Cum Telephone Operator and S.S.C for the post of Multi Tasking Staff and have Computer Knowledge.
How to Apply: Candidate should apply through prescribed format and send filled form along with testimonials indicating education qualification, technical qualification, experience, age proof, and EE Regn. Card, duly attested should reach to the following address Directorate of Health Services, Port Blair on or before 08-06-2012.

In the actual notification it is not specified whether the posts available are for the local candidates or all india wise, it is only given that the candidate need to possess the prescribed language skills mentioned in the advertisement details to apply for the above vacancies.

selection procedure for forest ranger :
The candidates are selected for forest ranger on the basis of the written test and interview, final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in both written exam and interview.
written test :
compulsory subjects :
1. General knowledge – 100
2. English(essay & precise writing) – 100
Interview:
The total marks for interview is of 75, the candidates who qualify in the written test are eligible to apply for interview.

As per the notification, the candidates who completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with necessary physical standards are eligible to apply the vacancy. It is mentioned in the advertisement details that extra marks will be awarded if the candidates possess Ncc certificates.
