Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 24 – 37 years for Post No. 01, 21 – 37 years for Post No. 02, 21 – 40 years for Post No. 03 & 08 and 18 – 40 years for Post No. 04 to 07 & 09 to 14 as on 01-01-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from any Institution recognized by the Government and for management of Solid Waste Treatment Plant or Water Treatment Plant Electrical Engineering (LEE) from any Institution recognized by the Government for Post No. 01, Higher Secondary passed from a Board or Council recognized by the Government and also have Diploma in Sanitary Inspector from any Institution recognized by the Government for Post No. 02, Madhyamik or any equivalent examination from any institution recognized by the government for Post No. 03, Madhyamik or equivalent Exam from any Board recognized by the Govt for Post No. 04, 05, 07 & 08 and Madhyamik or equivalent Exam with typing knowledge for Post No. 06 with relevant experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format with Self attested recent 02 copies passport size photograph to be pasted one in Application Form and other one for Admit Card along with self attested photo copies of all testimonials and certificates in an envelope should be super scribed with “Application for the post of ——————————” by ordinary post to the Chairman, Baranagar Municipality, 87, Deshbandhu Road (E), Kolkata-700 035, W.B on or before 02-06-2017 up to 04:00 p.m. or directly in the Drop Box to be kept in the Municipal Office during office hour on working days.
