CORPORATION BANK CLERKS RECRUITMENT ELIGIBILITY

The Eligibility for Clerical cadre of Corporation Bank Contains  3 main items. They are- (1) Education Qualification (2) Age (3) Nationality Educational qualification (as on the date of application): Graduate in any discipline with 40% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification (SC/ST/XS/PD candidates must obtain 35% marks, computer literacy is essential for the post Relaxation for SC/ST/XS/PD candidates: As per govt guidelines in the matter All educational qualifications should be from a recognized university/board/central/state administration, knowledge of the official language of the state/UT (to read, write and speak) is essential Age: Not below 18 years and not above 28 years as on 0106.2010 Relaxation of age SC/ST 05 years; OBC 03 years; PD 10 years; Ex-serviceman 03 years Nationality/citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the govt of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates have been issued to him by the govt of India
