EPFO Recruitment 2012 – Online Application for 1943 Social Security Asst vacancies: Employee’s Provident Fund Organization – EPFO has invited online applications for the recruitment of 1943 Social Security Assistant vacancies. The eligible candidates may apply through online from 14-02-2012 to 09-03-2012.The written test for this post will be held on 15-04-2012.for more details like age limit, educational qualifications, details of vacancies and other details are given below…
EPFO Recruitment 2012 various vacancy details:
Total no of vacancies: 1867+76=1943
Name of the post:
Social Security Assistant: 1867
Sports quota Vacancies: 76
Age limit: Candidates age between 18 to 27 years as on 09-03-2012.
Educational qualification: Graduation degree from recognized university.
Application Fee: General&OBC candidates have to pay Rs.315/- and SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates have to pay Rs.90/- including postal charges and bank charges.
How to apply: The eligible candidates should apply through online from EPFO website www.epfindia.com or www.epfindia.gov.in on or before 09-03-2012.
Instructions for online applying:
1. Candidate should have their personnel Email Id.
2. The eligible candidates login to EPFO website www.epfindia.com or www.epfindia.gov.in.
3. Candidate should download the fee payment challan and entire recruitment notification on EPFO website.
4. Candidate should pay the fee in the prescribed challan with any branch of SBI.
5. After fee payment candidates take the applicant counter foil copy of the fee payment challan duly attested by the bank with bank name, transaction id, date of deposit etc.
6. Original fee payment of challan has to submit at the time of written examination.

Fee payment date: from 13-02-2012 to 08-03-2012
Date for downloading call letters: 03-04-2012 to 15-04-2012
Date of written Examination: 15-04-2012

As per the notification, the candidates who completed bachelor degree as on the closing date of application i.e 9-03-2012 are eligible to apply the vacancy.

As per the notification, the recruitment process involves two stages.
1. written test: which is of objective type, the candidates who qualified in the written test need to attend for the skill test.
2. skill test: The skill test is for 50 marks, the minimum qualifying marks in skill test should be 25.

Essential Qualification:
1. Degree from a recognized university
2. Must possess a speed of at least 5000 key depressions per hour for the data entry work
Desirable qualification:
A computer training certificate from a recognized computer training institute
what is mean of Desirable qualification if any person not have a computer training certificate from a recognized computer training institute.

As per the notification, the candidates who qualified in the written exam need to attend for a skill test, at the time of skill test they need to produce the proof of passing the minimum eligibility qualification for verification and submit the photocopies of certificates.
