Name of the Post: Assistant Officers
Names of Disciplines:
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 30 years as on 30-06-2013. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations (M.Sc) with 60% marks and awarded post graduate degree in science in the above mentioned disciplines (full time regular courses only) from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Score obtained in GATE 2013 followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates who possess the required qualification in relevant discipline need to apply for GATE 2013 on or before 30-09-2012. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply to IOCL through (www.iocl.com) online mode on or before 19-01-2013.

As per the notification the candidates who completed diploma in Chemical engineering are not eligible to apply for the vacancies in IOCL.

As per the notification the candidates with B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry)are eligible for Jr. Engineers (Production department) i.e. post code 1.
The candidates with diploma in Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) are eligible for Jr.Engineer (Electrical , TPS, Mechanical Pumps &Compressor) i.e. post codes 2,3,4.
