Kerala Postal Circle - 52 Postal/Sorting Asst & Postman Posts 2012
Kerala Postal Circle Recruitment 2012 – 180 Postal & Sorting Asst Vacancies: Kerala Postal Circle has issued notification for recruitment of 179 Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 01-10-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…
Kerala Postal Circle Vacancy Details:
Total No of Vacancies: 180
Names of Posts:
1. Postal Assistant: 83 posts
2. Sorting Assistant: 70 posts
3. Postal Assistant (saving Bank Control Organization): 27 posts
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in an identified Post Office of this circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application form and it is available at all All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001″ on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.

Sir, I have posted my postal assistant application form on 04/09/12. It delivered to Delhi GPO on 18/09/12 only. I am checking my application status every day. But it has shown “your application is not received till now”. What should I do? Last date was 01/10/2012.

As per the notification the candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University and the candidate have to register their details in the official web site of Indian postal department which is http://www.indiapost.gov.in and the application format with the details will be sent to the email id provided.

sir ,
will they consider 10% ofmarks or 10marks in computer test.
in notification they mentioned that 10 marks of typing will be added to the marks secured in aptitude and 10+2 score.
which one is correct.
i mean if one got 5marks outof 10 in computer test will they add 5 marks or 0.5marks(10% of 5marks=0.5).
plz clarify my doubt.
