Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (GP) plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years.(Relaxable upto 35 yrs. for Departmental candidates or in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time).

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 (GP) plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees from time to time.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years.(Relaxable upto 35 yrs. for Departmental candidates or in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time).
Relaxation for Age Limit:
(i) Upto 3 years in addition to the periof of service rendered in the Defence Services for Ex-Servicemen on production of Discharge Cetyificate for Ex-Servicemen issued by the Competent Authority.
(ii) Upto 40 years for Departmental Candidates with 3 years continous service (additional 5 years for SC & ST).
(iii) For SC/ST candidates 05 years.
Eligibility:
Essential Requirement:
(i) Matriculation from recognised Board.
(ii) Must have completed basic course on Elementary Fire Fighting from a recognised Institute. The duration of the Basic Fire Fighting Course should not be less than siz months.The institutes offering Basic Courses on Fire Fighting should be recognised by State Government/Government of India.
(iii) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.This requirement will be tested as under:-
* Physically Standards:-
(a) Height without shoes – 165 cms
(b) Chest (unexpected) – 81.5 cms, Chest (expanded) – 85 cms
(c) Weight 50 kgs Minimum
* Endurance Test:-
Endurance Test will be done only for those candidates who qualify in the measurement of physical standards.
(a) Carry a man (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 mtrs within 96 seconds
(b) Clearing 2.7 mtrs ditch landing on both feet (long jumps).
(c) Climbing 3 mtrs vertical rope using hands and feet.
Examination Fee:-
Since the vacancies are reserved for SC & ST.No fee is required to be paid by them as per extant instructions.
How To Apply:
Applications in the format appended below should be sent to the General Manager,Grey Iron Foundary,Jabalpur-482009 (M.P.) together with copies of all certificates,such as Educational Qualification,Caste,Date of Birth Certificate,Experience,Fire Fighting Course Certificate of not less than six months from any institute recognised by State/Central Govt. etc. duly attested by an Serving Gazetted Officer.”No Objection Certificate” should be enclosed in original,where applicable.No documents should be enclosed in original except “No Objection Certificate”.Application may be filled up in either Hindi or English.Merely submission of the application does not guarantee being called for test/interview.SC/ST apply through proper channel along with a vigilance clearance certificate for the HPO that neither releasing them in case of selection.No action will be taken on advance copy of the application received.

Notes:
(i) Concession of 2.5 cms in height or chest may be allowed for thew members of Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes candidates from hilly areas.
(ii) The post is not identified suitable for Physically Challenged persons.
