North Western Railway Recruitment 2013 – Group C & D Sports Quota Vacancies: North Western Railway invites applications from eligible Sports persons for filling up 26 Group-C & Group-D Posts. Eligible candidates may apply in a prescribed application form on or before 15-01-2013. For more details regarding age limit, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply and other details are given below…

II. Divisional and Ajmer Workshop Quota:
a. Bikaner:
1. Power Lifting (Woman): 01 post
2. Athletics (Men): 01 post
b. Ajmer:
1. Badminton: 01 post
2. Table Tennis: 01 post
c. Jodhpur:
1. Foot Ball (Men): 02 posts
d. Jaipur:
1. Boxing (Men): 02 posts
e. Ajmer Workshop:
1. Athletics (Men): 02 posts
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2013.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess minimum SSC/Matriculation for Group ‘C’ Recruitment in PB 1 Rs.5,200 – 20,200 Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/2000 along with relevant sports achievements and 10th/ ITI/ Equivalent for Group D Recruitment in PB-1 Rs.5,200 – 20,200 Grade Pay Rs. 1,800/-.
Application Fee: Unreserved and OBC candidates have to pay examination fee of Rs.60/- for group ‘C’ posts, PB 1 Rs.5,200 – 20,200 + Rs. 2,400/- or Rs.2800/-(GP) and Rs.40/- for PB-1 Rs.5,200 – 20,200+ Rs.1,800 or Rs.1900 or Rs. 2000 (GP) should be paid in the form of Demand Draft/IPO of any Nationalized Bank /Scheduled Bank/ Post Office in favor of the mentioned authorities as shown in the notification. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ Minority/ EBC/ Ex Servicemen are exempted from fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of achievements in relevant sports, educational qualifications, general intelligence, personality, game skills, physical Fitness and observations of coach & on the basis of Trail.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application form as given in the http://www.nwr.indianrailways.gov.in website, download that form and fill it with all given mandatory details, affix passport size photograph on it and send it along with relevant enclosures, DD form in an envelope by super-scribing “Application for the recruitment against Sports Quota for the year 2012-13” (HQRs/Division) must reach to the respective addresses as given in the notification on or before 15-01-2013.

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 15-01-2013.
Last Date for Receipt of Application for Far Flung Areas & Abroad Candidates: 30-01-2013.
