Northern Railway Jobs 2012 – Sports Personnel Vacancies: Northern Railway invites applications for the Recruitment of 04 Sports Personnel vacancies in HQ Division for the year 2012-13. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 17-12-2012. Northern Railway Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 04
Name of the Post: Sports Personnel in PB-1, Rs.5200-20200+1800 (GP) in HQ Division for the year 2012-13.
Positions:
1. One Fat Bowler & One Batsman (Cricket) – 02 Posts.
2. One All Rounder & One Right Cover (Kabaddi) – 02 Posts.
Age Limit: Candidate should have minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01-01-2013.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass 10th Class and relevant sports qualification.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay examination Fee of Rs. 40/-(SC/ ST candidates are exempted from fee). The fee should be drawn through crossed Postal order/ demand draft paid at New Delhi in the name of, Sports Officer/ HQ, Head Quarter Sports Association, Northern Railway, New Delhi through Postal Dak only.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in trial of sports performance and interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in the notification, fill it with all given mandatory details, affix passport size photograph on it and sent along with relevant enclosures, two latest passport size photographs duly attested by a gazetted officer, attested copies of relevant certificates, examination fee and with super scribing on the envelope in capital letters as 400E/ 18/ Sports Rec.in PB-1-5200-20200+1800 (GP) HQ Div./ 2012-13 and write the event name for which application is being sent in the bracket and must be reach through Postal Dak only to the Sports Officer/ Head Quarter Sports Association, Northern Railway New Delhi, Room No.7-G, Annexe-II Building, Baroda House, New Delhi-110001 on or before 17-12-2012.

As per the notification, the candidates applying for the vacancies in Northern Railways must possess Matriculation with ITI for Technician posts, Matriculation for Stenographer, Jr Clerk, Commercial Clerk posts, Diploma in Engineering for Jr Engineer posts and Any Degree for Trade Apprentice and ASM posts.
