PNB Recruitment 2012 – Apply Online for 2985 Clerk Vacancies: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued notification against recruitment of 2985 Single Window Operator- A Vacancies in Clerical Cadre. Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment in Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in Nov-Dec 2011 and who have a valid Score card are only eligible to apply. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 10-10-2012. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…
PNB Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 2985
Name of the Post: Single Window Operator – A
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 20 years and 25 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-08-2011. (Age relaxations will be as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent qualification from the University/Institute recognized by the Govt. of India, working knowledge of MS Office and should have scored minimum cut off marks in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS.
Application Fee Details: Candidates must download the Cash Voucher from PNB official website and make the payment at any of the PNB branches. Amount of fee would be Rs. 100/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PC/EXSM candidates.
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates would be made on the basis of IBPS CWE score and Personal Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates need to apply only through Online mode from PNB website on or before 10-10-2012. After submission of application candidates can take a printout of the system generated on-line application form to be submitted at the time of the interview. The registration number and password generated should also be retained for future reference.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to Bank’s website www.pnbindia.in to apply for the post online and select the ‘Recruitment’ link.
2. Select the appropriate link for downloading Cash Voucher for making payment.
3. Take print of Cash Voucher and make the payment at any of the PNB braches.
4. Revisit the Bank’s website using the same website address mentioned above and this time select Click to Apply Online link.
5. Select the Apply Online link for online registration, fill all marked details carefully and check once for accuracy before submission.
6. Upload previously scanned photograph and signature at the places provided and click on ‘Submit’ button.
7. Take print of Application Form and retain it along with the cash voucher for submission at the time of Interview (if asked for).

Starting Date for Online Registration: 26-09-2012
Closing Date for Online Registration: 10-10-2012
Payment of Application Fees: 26-09-2012 to 10-10-2012

As per the notification the candidate with MBA / PGDM with specialization in Finance only with minimum of 75% marks in aggregate & consistent 60% or above marks from Sr. Secondary onwards From the University recognized by Govt. of India / AICTE approved, as a regular candidate and with single specialization is eligible to apply for the 2nd post of credit manager

As per the notification, to apply for the post of Hindi officers candidate must possess Post Graduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject in degree level (or) Post graduate degree in sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects in degree level.
And should have valid IBPS score card.

As per the notification the candidates applying for the post codes 8,9,10 need to qualify in IBPS and they should possess a valid score card of IBPS. For the post codes 1 to 7 IBPS score is no necessary.

As per the notification, the candidates need to possess LLB/CA/ICWA/MBA/PGDM/Degree/Diploma/PG Degree/BE/B Tech/MCA as per the post applied for.

As per the notification, the candidate with MBA with specialization in Finance only with 75% marks in aggregate from a recognized university is eligible to apply for the post of Manager(credit). For this post valid IBPS score card is not required.
For the post of Officer(IT) valid IBPS score card is necessary.

As per the notification, the candidate must possess CA/ICWA (or)
MBA / PGDM with specialization in Finance only with minimum of
75% marks in aggregate & consistent 60% or above marks from Sr. Secondary onwards The MBA/PGDM course should be :-
• From the University recognized by Govt. of India / AICTE approved.
• Regular and not from Distance Education Mode
• With single specialization
in order to apply for credit manager in PNB.

As per the notification, the candidate applying for the post of officer(IT) must have qualified/passed in the common Entrance Exam for recruitment of Specialist Officers conducted by IPBS in March 2012 and must possess valid score card along with the relevant educational qualifications.
