Punjab university-Centre for IAS And Competitive Examinations - Chandigarh : Punjab University runs an exclusive Centre for IAS and Other Competitive Examinations to help aspirants compete in various national and state level examinations. The Centre has been approved by the Chandigarh Social Welfare Department for providing assistance to economically reserved sections of the society. The Centre is also examining the feasibility of starting coaching for some more Competitive Examinations like UGC (NET)/CSIR, Banking & Insurance, IES & ISS, Indian Forest Service, and Combined Defence Services, etc. IAS (Preliminary), State Judicial Services, etc.
