RAC Recruitment 2013 – Apply Online for Scientist Vacancies: Recruitment and Assessment Center (DRDO) has issued notification for recruitment of following posts under direct recruitment scheme. Eligible candidates may apply through online from 09-12-2012 to 27-12-2012. DRDO Recruitment Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 07
Name of Posts:
1. Scientist ‘G’: 02 Posts
2. Scientist ‘E’: 01 Post
3. Scientist ‘D’: 02 Posts
4. Scientist ‘C’: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 35 years for Scientist ‘G’, 45 years for Scientist ‘D’ & ‘E’, 50 years for Scientist ‘C’. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech in relevant branches from a recognized University with the desirable experience mentioned in the notification.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of performance in Interview.
Application Fee: Fee Rs.50/- to be paid online or by IPO drawn in favor of Director RAC payable at Delhi. No fees for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates.
How to apply: Candidates are required to submit their applications online along with legible and lighter file containing scanned copies of certificates for essential Educational Qualification, Experience claimed, Document/certificate in support of last pay drawn, recent colored passport size photograph and the required fee through RAC website http://rac.gov.in on or before 27-12-2012. Total size of all scanned documents to be attached must not exceed 2MB.

As per the notification, the candidate need to possess the bachelor degree/master degree in the concerned discipline along with minimum experience in the relevant field to apply for the vacancy.

As per the notification, the candidates must possess atleast first class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/ Master’s degree in the concerned science subjects/disciplines or Mathematics from a recognised university or equivalent with experience / specialisation as mentioned against each item.
At least 10 years Research or Design or Development or Production experience for Scientist ‘E’, 7
years for Scientist ‘D’ and 3 years for Scientist ‘C’ as
