Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit is 18 to 28 years as on 01-03-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in the discipline of Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics from a Govt recognized institute for OCTT and Matriculation with ITI in the trades of Fitter/ Electrician/ Welder/ Electronics from a Govt recognized institute for ACTT.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test and Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.250/- for OCTT, Rs.150/- for ACTT in case of General/ OBC, Rs.50/- for OCTT & ACTT in case of SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM and all candidates must pay Rs.20/- as bank charges. Payment must be deposited in the specially opened Power Jyoti Account No. 31955226331 at SBI, RSP Campus Branch, Rourkela, on behalf of SAIL/ RSP.
How to Apply: Interested candidates need to apply online through the website www.sail.co.in by filling all the mandatory details on or before 08-06-2013. After applying online, system generated Registration Slip must be downloaded for future use.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to www.sail.co.in
2. Click on “Careers with SAIL” and select appropriate advertisement link.
3. Fill all the mandatory details and upload scanned copy of photograph and signature and submit error free application form.
4. Take printout of Bank Challan and make payment at SBI branch.
5. Revisit the website using email id and password.
6. Enter the payment details and submit the form.
7. Take print out of Registration Slip for future use.
