SAIL Salem Steel Plant Recruitment 2012 – 54 ACT Trainee Vacancies: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Salem Steel Plant has issued notification against recruitment of 54 Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 10-09-2012. SAIL Vacancy Details:
Number of Posts: 54
Name of Post: Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
Names of Disciplines:
1. ITI -Fitter Trade – 26 vacancies
2. ITI -Electrician Trade – 20 vacancies
3. ITI -Welder Trade – 08 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 28 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess SSLC / HSC and ITI in Fitter / Electrician / Welder Trade.
Application Fee Details: Application fee must be paid in form of demand draft of Rs. 150/- drawn in favor Salem Steel Plant Payable at Salem and drawn on State Bank of India, Salem Steel Plant Campus Branch. SC/ST/PWD candidates need to application fee of Rs. 50/-.
Selection Procedure: Selections of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in Written Test, Interview and Medical Examination.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply for the posts through prescribed application format available along with the notification. Fill the application neatly, attach photograph and attest signature. Send it along with copies of all relevant testimonials and Crossed DD in an envelope super scribing the name of post to be applied for, through post, to the following address, Post Bag No.781, Circus Avenue Post Office, Kolkata – 700 017, on or before 10-09-2012.
Last Date for Receipt of Application: 10-09-2012.

As per the notification the candidates who possess SSLC/HSC and ITI in Fitter,Electrician,Welder are only eligible for the post of ACT in SAIL,But the last date to apply is already over.
Iam a ITI Holder in fitter trade, also complete D.M.E. I have I class Boiler Attendant Competent certificate, iam 38 years old any chance to join SAIL

At present no vacancies are available for the post of Attendant Cum Technician Trainee in SAIL, But according to the previous notifications given by SAIL, in order to apply for the post of ACT, age should not exceed 28yrs.
