1. Management Trainee (Technical) – 408 vacancies
2. Management Trainee (Administration) – 72 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 30 years, that means candidates must not have born before 01-05-1982. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt Rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for MT Technical must possess Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline and those applying for MT Administration must have completed Graduation followed by MBA or PG Diploma in relevant discipline.

Application Fee Details: Candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- towards application and processing fee and SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay only processing fee of Rs. 100/- in form of Pay in Slip in SBI in Account No. 32286155304 at CAG Branch, New Delhi on behalf of SAIL. The Pay in Slip can be downloaded from Application Registration Portal in SAIL’s website.

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply only through Online mode on or before 09-05-2012. After submission of Application candidates need to take print of application Forma and retain it for further use.

1. Log on to www.sail.co.in website
2. Select the Online Application link followed by New Registration link.
3. Fill all marked details carefully and click on Verify button.
4. Upload the scanned photograph and signature at the places provided and fill all marked details.
5. After filling up the form completely Submit the Application.
6. After submission of Application download the form and system generated Registration Slip with Unique Registration number and other essentials.

SC/ST/PWD candidates to pay only the processing charge of Rs.100/- drawn in favor of the Steel Authority of India Ltd., Rourkela Steel Plant, payable at Rourkela in any Nationalized Bank.

Selection Procedure: For the post of Medical Officer (ME-1), selections will be made on the basis of Written Test and interview, and for all other posts, selections will be made only on the basis of Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply for the posts through prescribed application format available along with the notification. Fill the application neatly, attach photograph and attest signature. Send it along with copies of all relevant testimonials and Crossed DD in an envelope super scribing the name of post to be applied for and the advertisement number, through only ordinary post, to the following address, asst. General manager (personnel-recruitment), block “e”, ground floor, administration building, sail, Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela – 769011, Odisha on or before 20-04-2012.
