1. Specialist
i. Cardiac Surgeon: 01 Post
ii. Physician: 01 Post
iii. Surgeon: 01 Post
iv. Radiologist: 01 Post
v. Dermatologist: 01 Post
2. General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): 08 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates’ should not have completed more than 50 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Post-graduate in the specialty or equivalent Specialist post and M.B.B.S for GDMO post and registered with the Indian Medical Council. One year experience in the respective specialty is desirable.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Interview.
How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, and attend for walk in interview with original certificates and testimonials to the Dy. Chief Medical Director/ T&A, Southern Railway, Medical Department, Moore Market Complex, 4th Floor, Park Town, Chennai-600003on 15-03-2013.

As per the notification, the candidates who completed diploma in the relevant discipline are eligible for the vacancies, but no clear cut information is available regarding whether the candidates whose results are awaited are eligible to apply or not.

As per the notifications, these vacancies are reserved only for PWD candidates, and the candidates who completed degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the posts of ECRC, Goods Guard, ASM.
