Selection Procedure: Staff Selection Commission Selection Process is based on Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
Written Examination: The written exam will consist of two papers (Paper I & II) for General, Depot and Accounts Cadres posts and candidates applying for Technical Cadre will appear in Paper-I and Paper-III. The examination in paper III will be of degree level. Paper I and II will be of Higher Secondary Level.

Computer Proficiency Test: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) consists of Word Processing and Excel will also be held for candidates short listed on the basis of Paper-I and Paper-II/ Paper-III. Qualifying marks in word processing may be prescribed by the SSC at its discretion for evaluation of Excel Scripts, in which a separate qualifying standard will be prescribed.
Final Selection: Candidates who qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be eligible to be considered for final selection. Final selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in written exam.

The exam date for the post of Asst Grade-III in SSC is 11/11/2012.
sir My DOB 01-06-1980 am i eligible for FCI posts age is 32year and 2 months till 01-08-2012

As per the notification the candidates whose age is below 27 years are only eligible to apply for the vacancies of Asst. grade-III in SSC.But the last date for applying is already over.
I have a query that B. pharma candidates are eligible for Asst. Grade III (Technical) post?

As per the notification the candidates who possess Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers are eligible to apply for the posts of Asst. Gr-III general and depot in SSC

As per the notification the Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 200/- in form of challan downloaded from website after the submission of part I of the application at any branch of State Bank of India.
