Exam pattern for SSC combined higher secondary 10+2 exam of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO).
The written examination will consist of one objective type paper consisting 4 parts as shown below :

I General Intelligence 50 50
II English Language 50 50
(Basic Knowledge)
III Numerical Aptitude 50 50
(Basic Arithmetic Skill)
IV General Awareness 50 50
NOTE-1: The above 4 parts will carry a combined time of 2 Hours for General candidates.
NOTE-2 : The Paper will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
NOTE-3: There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

As per the notification the Written Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test for the post on CHSL in SSC. The Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer.
4 parts are in SSC combined higher secondary. IS IT necessary to pass all parts if yes what is the pass mark

As per the notification the candidates have to qualify in the written part of examination and secure at least minimum qualifying marks as may be fixed by the Commission in their discretion.
