Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted NDA ii examination on 22nd August 2010, for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the national defence academy (nda) for the 126th Course and Naval Academy for the 88th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 30th June 2011.

The candidates joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years  B Tech Course and would also be given an opportunity to join Technical Branch of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies.  The approximate number of vacancies to be filled on the results of this examination will be 335 (195 for the Army, 39 for Navy,  66 for the Air Force and 35 for the Executive Branch of Naval Academy)

Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) conducted written examination for admissions into national defense academy and naval academy twice in a year in name of nda 1 and nda 2 exams. UPSC conduted nda 1 exam on 18/04/2010. The upsc announced the result of written examination of nda & na 1 on 10/08/2010. From the above data we can understand upsc took more than 3 months to announce the results of written examination.

In 2009 NDA 2 written exam was conducted in August and NDA 2 results were declared in November. As from past we can expect nda 2 results to be announced by Novemeber 2010.
