Uttarakhand Postal Circle Recruitment 2012 – 83 Postal & Sorting Asst Vacancies: Uttarakhand Postal Circle has issued notification against recruitment of 83 Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant Vacancies. 1. Almora – 16 vacancies
2. Chamoli – 09 vacancies
3. Dehradun – 16 vacancies
4. Nainital – 12 vacancies
5. Pauri – 08 vacancies
6. Pithoagarh – 05 vacancies
7. Tehri – 06 vacancies
8. S B C O – 11 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-10-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the State or Union Teritory of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi as Subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in a Post Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application form and it is available at all All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11-08-2012 to 25-09-2012.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001″ on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.

hello i got in 12th total 55.5% marks in 6 subjects and in 5 subjects i got 59.5%marks and in 4 subjects i got 72% marks so i want to know can i applied this post or not? I have already done my graduation and pursuing M.B.A this time Please let me know I am eligible for this post or not?

As per the notification the average marks of the total 6 subjects will be considered. So the candidates should get minimum of 60% marks in 10+2 standard to apply for the vacancies in Uttarkhand postal circle.

As per the notification the candidate who possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University are only eligible to apply for the vacancies in Uttarakhand postal circle.

(1).Fristly u have to find your nearest post office then buy FORM.
(2) fillup all the needed information submit fee.
(3)and post it.
