Age Limit

• Candidate born between 02 Jan 2004 and 02 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Qualification

• Candidates Should Possess Matriculation/ Equivalent exam.

Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms
• Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age
• Vision requirements as applicable as per Indian Air Force standards.
• Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately
• Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

Physical Fitness Test – 1 (PFT-1): 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6.30 minutes (six minutes thirty seconds)If the PFT is conducted in High Altitude areas, the above timing will be suitably modified as per the following: -
(a) Upto 5000 feet : Nil
(b) 5001 to 9000 feet : Additional 30 Seconds
(c) 9001 to 12000 feet : Additional 120 seconds

Physical Fitness Test – 2 (PFT-2): In order to qualify in PFT-2, candidates should complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within stipulated time as per the following: -

(i) 10 Push-ups 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 10 minutes break on completion of run
(ii) 10 Sit-ups 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of 10 Push-ups
(iii) 20 Squats 01 Minute Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of 10 Sit-ups
