Andhra Bank Clerk Selection Procedure Details: Andhra Bank recruits clerks every year on the basis of the clerk common written exam conducted by IBPS.  The Candidates who possess a valid score card on behalf of their qualifying status are only eligible to apply for the Clerk Vacancies given by the bank. The following are the eligibility details to apply for the Clerk vacancy.

Selection Procedure:

1. IBPS Clerk Common Written Exam: The common written exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking personnel section (IBPS) every year which is accepted by 19 Public Sector Banks for recruiting Clerks. The qualified candidates will be issued a score card and it is valid for one year from the date of issuing.

2. Group Discussion and/Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, the bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high score in the common written exam for Group Discussion and/Interview.

3. Interview Marks: The total marks for Personal Interview is of 35. The minimum qualifying marks for the General & OBC Candidates is 40% and for reserved category candidates is 35% (SC/ST/PWD).

4. Final Selection: The selection to the post of Clerk is entirely based on the total weighted score obtained in the common written exam and the marks obtained in Group Discussion and/Interview.
