UPSC ESE Notification 2027 Out - Apply Online for 480 Engineering Services Examination Vacancies

UPSC has released the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2027 notification (Examination Notice No. 02/2027-ENGG) for recruitment to various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ engineering services and posts under the Government of India. The examination is expected to fill around 480 vacancies, including 19 posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering disciplines. Eligible candidates with an engineering degree or equivalent qualification, aged between 21 and 30 years as on 01.01.2027, can submit their online applications from 16.09.2026 to 06.10.2026 through the UPSC online portal. The selection process will include Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test/Interview, with the Preliminary Examination scheduled for 31.01.2027 and the Main Examination on 18.06.2027.
