Halo Campaign Evolved Release Date
Halo Campaign Evolved is set to launch in 2026 on Xbox Series X S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Halo Studios has not given the exact day yet, but the timing suggests it could arrive around November 16, 2026. That marks the 25th anniversary of the first Halo Combat Evolved release.
This version will also be available on Game Pass from day one. It is Halo’s first release on PlayStation, marking a big moment for the series.
What Is Halo Campaign Evolved?
Halo Campaign Evolved is a full remake of the original Halo Combat Evolved story. It runs on Unreal Engine 5 and has major updates but stays close to the spirit of the old game.
The remake adds new missions, better visuals, and fresh dialogue from the original voice cast. There are three new prequel missions featuring Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson. Players can explore new areas, fight updated enemies, and use new vehicles and weapons.
The game keeps its focus on the story only. There’s no classic multiplayer mode. But it supports local co-op for two players and online co-op for up to four with cross play between Xbox, PC, and PS5.
Vehicles can be hijacked, and players can now use the Wraith tank for the first time in Halo’s first campaign. Weapons like the Energy Sword and Battle Rifle appear here too. The audio, lighting, and cinematics have all been remade to match modern standards.
Halo Campaign Evolved Price
Microsoft hasn’t confirmed the exact price yet. Many reports expect it to be around 60 to 70 dollars, the common range for big releases today. Some think 50 would be fair since it has no full multiplayer mode, but the updated story and new missions might justify a higher tag. It will be part of Game Pass at no extra cost for subscribers.
