If you grab the game digitally through the Nintendo eShop, you’ll get an in-game rider hat that you can wear during races. Over in the UK, things get a bit more tactile pre-orders from the My Nintendo Store toss in a reusable Kirby Air Riders cup, printed with cheerful little faces of Kirby, King Dedede, and Chef Kawasaki. Cute, right? And if you’re feeling extra indulgent, there’s a plushie bundle that throws in one of three adorable Kirbys (Warp Star, Sleepy, or Ultra Sword) for a few extra pounds. It’s the kind of bundle that almost dares you not to smile when you unbox it.
Speaking of price, Kirby Air Riders lands at $69.99 in the U.S. for both digital and physical versions, while UK players can expect around £66.99 for the base copy. The plushie bundles will set you back closer to £78.99 but, honestly, for those who grew up obsessed with the original Kirby Air Ride on GameCube, that plush might be worth it. In Canada, it’s running at about CA$99.96, which sounds steep but par for the Switch 2 course these days.
No fancy statues or keychains yet, though fans are holding out hope. Maybe Nintendo’s saving something shiny for last-minute retailer exclusives it’s been known to happen. But even without that, Kirby Air Riders already looks like one of those games you pre-order just because it feels like an event. It’s nostalgic, bright, and just chaotic enough to make you forget adult life for a few laps.
