120 Bahadur Trailer Out
The trailer dropped on November 6, 2025, over Excel Entertainment’s YouTube channel and the movie’s official Instagram. You can watch on Excel Entertainment YouTube or search “120 Bahadur trailer” for direct links. Visually, the first shots hit hard: Amitabh Bachchan’s narration echoes over sweeping Ladakh landscapes, then the chaos of the snow-swept trenches, deafening artillery, and Farhan Akhtar’s bloodied resolve.
Run time is roughly 2:48. Within hours, it hit over 1.5 million views, with actor Yash calling it “a legendary true story” in his Insta Stories and Salman Khan praising the “fantastic trailer” publicly. One moment stands out: 1:04 in the trailer, Farhan’s Major Shaitan Singh shouts I don't want to accept defeat without fighting, as shells explode in every direction. Yash, posting on X( Twitter) via @TheNameIsYash, shared, "Honouring our brave, a legendary true story from our nation's history. 120 Bahadur - Trailer out now."
Is 120 Bahadur Based on a Real Story?
Yes, 120 Bahadur is based on the true story of the Battle of Rezang La, fought during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. On November 18, 1962, 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment (primarily Ahir troops from Haryana) defended a mountain pass against an assault by over 3,000 Chinese soldiers. Only a handful officially, just 6 survived. Over 110 Indian soldiers died fighting, holding their ground literally to their last breath. Chinese casualties were reported in the hundreds, though exact figures vary.
Major Shaitan Singh, who led this unit, was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his extraordinary courage, refusing evacuation even after being critically wounded. If you know military history, Rezang La is up there with the world’s greatest last stands. Read the Army Training Module “History of Battle of Rezang La, 1962” for more.
The film claims to honor the facts, with visuals and lines that match known history. Still, like many Bollywood war films, it clearly amps up some drama and stylized battle scenes for effect, especially in the trenches. In contrast to jingoistic war dramas, the trailer’s tone feels respectful, not chest-thumping. Notably, it lingers on grim, harsh moments and soldier camaraderie.
