Aion 2 Release Date
Aion 2 finally has a concrete release date for Korea and Taiwan on November 19, 2025. It almost feels odd to say it out loud after so many delays. If you’d asked a veteran Aion player to bet on the launch date a year ago, most would have rolled their eyes and guessed “someday.” But here we are, just weeks away from the follow-up to one of the more beloved MMOs of its era. Pre-registration for Aion 2 kicked off on September 11, 2025, and remains open for those in Korea and Taiwan. Immediate access to exclusive in-game bonuses is up for grabs, things like a Pet Selection Box, 100,000 Kinah, and sometimes even the elusive “mount” goodies, for folks who get in early. It’s not all about the rewards, though; players can also stake out their server and character name starting October 16, and even get a jumpstart on character creation from November 16. There's always that one friend who sweats character names so hard you can practically see a spreadsheet open on another monitor.
For anyone outside those territories, it’s a classic “watch and wait.” The global pre-registration has yet to pop online officially. Some creative players, always ready to jump through VPN hoops or play with app store regions, are managing to get in on foreign pre-registration, but for most, the main event is still to come.
