Week 8 is here. Bye weeks and injuries are hitting hard. If your roster feels thin, this is a good time to grab fresh receivers from the waiver wire.

Wan’Dale Robinson from the Giants is the top name right now. He’s been busy the past few games and looks locked in as Jaxson Dart’s main target. Malik Nabers is still out, and that keeps Robinson’s volume steady. He has topped 90 yards twice this year and handles a lot of short throws that pile up points in PPR leagues. He faces the Eagles next, which should mean heavy passing once again. If he’s still sitting on waivers, it’s time to pick him up.

Xavier Legette from Carolina is another smart add. He finally broke out last week with over 90 yards and a touchdown. He had 11 targets, which is a big sign of trust from the quarterback. The Panthers’ offense looks shaky, but Legette has carved out a real role. Buffalo comes next on the schedule, and Carolina will likely play from behind, meaning more air time for Legette.

Tez Johnson from Tampa Bay is a deep-league pickup worth a look. He stepped up after Mike Evans went down with injury. Johnson found the end zone last week and could see more targets now that Evans is likely out for a while. He’s not a safe starter yet but has the upside if Tampa’s offense keeps leaning on him. The Saints matchup isn’t easy, but he will get chances.

Chimere Dike from Tennessee is another name for deeper formats. He turned four targets into 70 yards and a score last week while Calvin Ridley sat out. His route count is rising, and if the Titans give more snaps to the younger guys, Dike could keep producing. He’s a stash for now but worth monitoring.

Rashod Bateman of the Ravens might fly under the radar after a slow start this year. Lamar Jackson is back from his hamstring injury, and that helps the whole passing game. Bateman had solid seasons before, and if he finds rhythm again, he can fill in as a decent WR3 or flex during byes.

If you want a lottery ticket, keep an eye on Oronde Gadsden from the Chargers. He exploded for 164 yards last week, showing the upside that made him a college standout. The Chargers often play from behind, which makes Gadsden useful for volume alone. He’s officially listed as a tight end in some platforms but works like a wide receiver, so he gives extra lineup flexibility.

Right now, most of these guys are available in over half of leagues. That makes it a good waiver week for those needing help at receiver. Focus on players seeing consistent snaps and targets, not just one‑off big plays. Robinson is the safest bet. Legette and Johnson bring upside if you’re chasing points.
