Bridgerton Season 4 Release Date
Bridgerton is coming back again. Netflix has confirmed that Season 4 will arrive in two parts.
- Part 1 comes out on January 29, 2026.
- Part 2 arrives on February 26, 2026.
This season follows Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. He meets Sophie Baek, a maid with a hidden life. She’s played by Yerin Ha. The story is inspired by An Offer from a Gentleman by Julia Quinn.
Benedict has no plans to marry. But things change when he meets a masked woman at his mother’s masquerade ball. He doesn’t know she’s Sophie, the maid from the same house. Their romance becomes the heart of the new season.
The showrunner, Jess Brownell, described it as a story about love and identity. Benedict will face choices about class and freedom. Sophie must decide whether love is worth risking everything she’s built.
Production began in late 2024 and wrapped in mid-2025. So the early 2026 release fits Netflix’s two-year cycle between seasons.
The season will run for eight episodes, split evenly across both parts. Each part will have four episodes.
Returning cast includes
- Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton
- Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton
- Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton
- Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury
- Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte
- Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown.
The tone will stay romantic but shift toward mature themes. Brownell said the new season shows that love can be messy and uncertain but still worth the fight.
Netflix shared a short teaser with Benedict and Sophie dancing under glittering lights. The masquerade scenes hint at secrets and emotional tension. Fans online are already guessing what Lady Whistledown will write next.
Filming took place in England, keeping the same grand sets and Regency style. The costumes use deeper, autumn shades this time instead of light pastels. That gives the show a fresh look while staying true to its world.
