Canadian Screen Awards Host 2025
The Canadian Screen Awards 2025 will be hosted by comedian Lisa Gilroy on Sunday, June 1, 2025. The event will celebrate the best in Canadian film, television, and digital media from 2024. It is a ticketed event and will start at 6:00 PM with a pre-awards cocktail.
The main awards show begins at 8:00 PM and will be broadcast live on CBC Gem. After the awards ceremony, there will be a post-show cocktail reception. Lisa Gilroy, known for her humor and charm, will guide the evening’s celebrations and honor the outstanding talent in the Canadian entertainment industry.

13th Canadian Screen Awards
From May 30 to June 1, 2025, a special TV event will take place to celebrate the best work in Canadian film, TV, and digital media from 2024.
The main event will happen on June 1 and will be hosted by comedian Lisa Gilroy. It will be shown live on CBC Gem.
The list of nominees was announced on March 26. The movie Universal Language got the most nominations in the film category with 13. In the TV category, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent received the most nominations, with 20.
