Dhurandhar OTT Release Date Update
Dhurandhar hit theatres on 5 December 2025 and is still in its theatrical run. Reports from entertainment and OTT news sites say the streaming release is planned for the end of January 2026 with most of them pointing to a date around 30 January.
The makers and the OTT platform have not yet shared a formal public announcement for the exact digital premiere date. Because of that the reported date should be treated as a strong industry expectation not a locked official schedule and it may shift a little depending on box office performance and internal planning.

Dhurandhar is a spy thriller that mixes underworld crime with cross border intelligence operations. The film is set in the years after major terror attacks in the region and it shifts between India and Pakistan with a focus on Karachi and the Lyari area which is known for its criminal networks.
The main character starts as a boy pushed toward crime by poverty and rough surroundings then grows into a sharp yet ruthless figure who moves deeper into the underworld.
Indian intelligence notices his skills and recruits him as an asset and he is sent across the border into Karachi to infiltrate a powerful gang that has links to terror outfits.
Inside Lyari he works his way up slowly gaining the trust of gang leaders while passing data back to Indian agencies who are looking to stop a large terror operation.
Over time he realises that to both states he is mostly a tool and his own safety or future do not matter much which creates strong inner conflict.
The plot builds toward a major planned attack and forces the lead character to choose between loyalty to his handlers the criminal world that gave him power and his own sense of right and wrong.
Along the way the film touches on themes like how young people are pulled into violence how intelligence work uses expendable assets and how nationalism can clash with basic human survival.

Dhurandhar is directed by Aditya Dhar who earlier made the film Uri The Surgical Strike and is known for mixing action with political and military themes.
Here he returns to a similar zone but with a more grounded spy underworld story that focuses on one asset planted deep inside enemy territory.
Ranveer Singh plays the central character who moves from local criminal to high value undercover operative and most of the film stays close to his journey and mindset.
His role demands both intense action scenes and emotional breakdown moments as the mission becomes more dangerous and the sense of betrayal grows.
The supporting cast is packed with well known names. Sanjay Dutt appears as a senior figure in the underworld setup Akshaye Khanna plays a key intelligence officer R Madhavan features in an important role on the Indian side and Arjun Rampal is linked to the cross border network.
Sara Arjun plays a character from Karachi who gets close to the lead and adds a personal layer to his mission which raises the stakes for the final act.
