Earl Sweatshirt Live Laugh Love Album Release Date
Earl Sweatshirt’s “Live Laugh Love” drops on August 22, 2025. Mark your playlist, folks, cause this one’s not sneaking in quietly. I remember last year waiting for his “Voir Dire” collab with The Alchemist; now, scrolling Instagram and being bombarded with a LeBron James meme announcing this new album felt weirdly like getting an invitation to a secret family BBQ (Earl and his partner Aida Osman, by the way, just had a baby—big congrats if he’s reading this, which he isn’t).
Here is an Twitter post shared by OnThinlce:
The album’s campaign is pure Earl: an LA listening party where he sent a stand-in, not himself, and handed out a zine with names like Donald Glover, Vince Staples, Dave Chappelle, and… someone in a Supreme hat who lip-syncs “Doris” tracks. Nobody knows if those folks are guesting, but the official tracklist is all Earl, no features, a classic move if you ask me, and honestly, one I respect in a world full of surprise verses.
So here’s the lowdown: “Live Laugh Love” is 11 songs strong, with production credits for Theravada, Navy Blue, Black Noi$e, Child Actor, and Earl himself. The titles are a wild ride, and more than one of them makes me wish I was in on whatever inside joke inspired “gsw vs sac.”
This is that oddball, sometimes bruised, sometimes good-natured Earl drip. For anyone who’s followed him since Odd Future days, it’s wild to see him pivot from those raw, inward spirals to this project, which—judging by the title and the baby news has flashes of hard-won contentment, or at least a sense that he’s able to laugh at life’s mess for a minute.
I’ll be honest: the fake listening party stunt might be my favorite promo gag of the year so far. Felt sort of like an MF DOOM homage fitting for Earl, who’s always worn that postmodern mask in some way.

If you’re an Earl-head, Friday’s about to be a good day. If you’re not, maybe just give “INFATUATION” a spin and see if it pulls you in; either way, you can’t say you weren’t warned.
