Elden Ring Nightreign Maintenance
If you’re wondering what’s up with the “ELDEN RING Nightreign” servers, it’s simple: they’re currently down for maintenance as part of Patch 1.02.1, running from 01:00 to 04:00 PDT (that’s 10:00–13:00 CEST or 17:00–20:00 JST) on August 12, 2025.
FromSoftware made it official, so if you just tried loading in to claim your Tarnished glory, you’re probably staring at that connection error screen. Been there before. There’s always that tiny moment of denial where you double-check your internet. Anyway, just so you know: the devs aren’t playing favorites. This maintenance is global, and everyone’s in the same boat whether it’s PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. As shared by ELDEN RING on Twitter, the Nightreign servers are scheduled for maintenance on August 12, 2025, to roll out Patch 1.02.1.
How Long Will the Maintenance Take?
The plan is for the servers to be down for three hours—not a minute more, not a minute less (hopefully). Here’s how that shakes out by region:
-
PDT (Pacific Daylight Time): 01:00 – 04:00
-
CEST (Central European Summer Time): 10:00 – 13:00
-
JST (Japan Standard Time): 17:00 – 20:00
There’s always an anxious energy in the air when a timer is set; will they hit their three-hour mark? I’ve been burned before—no shame in admitting I refreshed the launcher every 10 minutes during a Dark Souls update ages ago. But FromSoftware tends to stick pretty close to schedule for most routine patches.
Elden Ring Server Status
So, at the time I’m writing this, the servers are still undergoing maintenance, and you’re not getting in, no matter how many times you mash that reconnect button. But don’t sweat it: once 04:00 PDT/13:00 CEST/20:00 JST hits, things should be back up and running.
If experience is anything to go by, there might be a rush of folks flooding the servers that first minute after maintenance ends. Honestly, I always picture a bunch of cloaked Tarnished huddled outside a locked fog gate, waiting for someone to open the servers back up.
