Square Enix has announced that the Mog Station (FF XIV’s account/shop site) will be offline for scheduled system maintenance tonight.

Start: Aug. 26, 2025, 11:00 p.m. PDT

End: Aug. 27, 2025, 12:00 a.m. PDT

Duration: About 1 hour
What’s Affected?
During this time, players won’t be able to:

Upgrade from the free trial to the full version

Add new service accounts
-
Buy expansions or additional platforms
You can still play FF XIV normally; only Mog Station services are paused.
How Long Will the Maintenance Take?
The maintenance is scheduled for 1 hour, from 11:00 p.m. PDT until midnight. Keep in mind, this could run longer if extra fixes are needed, but it usually finishes on time.
If you’re trying to buy, upgrade, or change anything on Mog Station, you’ll need to wait until the end of maintenance. Check official FFXIV social channels for live status updates—if something goes wrong, they’ll post a notice.
FF XIV Server Status

Mog Station: Down for 1 hour, all major account actions unavailable

FF XIV Game Servers: Stay online, you can play as usual
If the time’s before midnight (PDT), maintenance is still happening. If it’s after, services should be restored, barring any surprises. If Mog Station is slow to come back, wait a few minutes—sometimes it takes a short extra while for everything to come online.
