Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Livestream Date: Time and What to Expect

Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Livestream Date

The big day lands on September 12, 2025, with the Honkai Star Rail Version 3.6 livestream, “Back to Earth in Evernight,” set to go live at 7:30 PM China Standard Time (CST). For Indian players (and that includes me and my group chat, many of whom set reminders about these things weeks ahead), the fun starts at 5:00 PM IST.

@honkaistarrail announced on Twitter that the Version 3.6 “Back to Earth in Evernight” Special Program will premiere on September 12, 2025, at 19:30 (UTC+8).

If you’re the kind of person who never misses these, it’s worth popping the time into your phone: the FOMO from accidentally seeing codes posted everywhere after the event is real. Last time, a friend of mine missed out because he thought the stream would run later. Spoiler: it didn’t.

Let’s be honest, the global fandom for this game is wild, and no one wants to be the one saying, “Wait, what did I miss?” If you’re somewhere else, here’s a quick, conversational timezone drop (no stiff tables here):

  • Tokyo, Japan: 8:30 PM JST, September 12

  • California, USA: Early risers only 4:30 AM PST, September 12

  • Toronto, Canada: 7:30 AM on September 12

  • Rome, Italy: 1:30 PM CET, September 12

  • Melbourne, Australia: 10:30 PM, September 12

  • Auckland, New Zealand: Midnight snack 12:30 AM, September 13

I always try to catch it live, but last time I tuned in a half hour late, which meant bingo codes were already in my Discord. Lesson learned: punctuality is a gamer’s best friend. If you want to see the livestream, please check the link below. It's the livestream official link:

What to Expect: Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Livestream?

If there’s one thing HoYoverse knows how to do, it’s keeping hype alive and tingly right to the last second. The 3.6 livestream is the first real peek at the final phase of the Amphoreus story arc, and the Astral Express crew is stepping up for what’s being hyped as a “major fight.” All eyes are on Zander One Kuwabara (aka Lygus), and, not gonna lie, the build-up around this villain has everyone speculating about boss mechanics and potential heartbreaks.

But it’s not just the story that's juicy: March 7th is getting a full-blown transformation into "Evernight," a new 5-star Ice unit on the Path of Remembrance. Think: not just a reskin or an upgraded skill here or there. From what’s been teased so far, Evernight is a separate, unique unit, much like when Dan Heng evolved last round. There’s already a fair bit of heated discussion online about her kit, with people sharing their wildest theorycrafts and memes like wildfire.

Dan Heng’s new form, Permansor Terrae, is also making waves. Not only does he look fantastic, but the rumor mill is buzzing: Is he going to be given away for free? The possibility has my whole squad split between “Of course they will!” and “Bro, have you learned nothing from gachas?” Regardless, expect him to be a 5-star Physical unit with big “knight” energy; fans of the Path of Preservation, celebrate.

HoYoverse is also known for dropping event codes during the stream. Typically, you get three codes, each snatching you 100 Stellar Jade, a little gift that sometimes feels like a band-aid on the gacha wound, but hey, every bit counts.

Here’s an informal rundown:

  • Massive Amphoreus chapter conclusion setup (expect cliffhangers)

  • New: March 7th as Evernight (5-star Ice, Path of Remembrance)

  • New: Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae (5-star Physical, Path of Preservation)

  • Stellar Jade codes (catch them before they expire, seriously, they’re gone in hours)

  • Sneak peeks at new events and some quality-of-life upgrades (maybe more auto-battle tweaks; one can dream)

  • Maybe an embarrassing technical glitch or two livestream “scuff” is tradition at this point.

That’s pretty much everything except for the actual surprises, which, knowing Hoyoverse, will make the rounds within minutes of airing. If nothing else, it’s a great excuse to get snacks, chill with friends (whether IRL or on Discord), and collectively “ooh” at new animations.
