The company hasn’t given a hard date, but they’ve been teasing the phone quite openly on social channels and Flipkart banners. The timing lines up perfectly with their usual mid-month launches, so you should expect it to drop later this August. Now, the money question — quite literally.
The 4G Hot 60i debuted at around Rs. 10,000 in Bangladesh (converted from BDT 13,999), and the Hot 60 (non-i, with Dimensity 7020) came to India at Rs. 10,499. Which means? The Hot 60i 5G will almost certainly slip in just under that mark, likely ₹9,999–₹10,499.
If Infinix holds that ₹9,999 launch price, this could be one of the cheapest Dimensity-powered 5G phones on sale in India.
Infinix Hot 60i 5G Specifications
Under the hood, the 5G upgrade matters — we’re talking a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, which should be snappy enough for general use and even some light gaming.
Infinix is pairing this with a huge 6,000mAh battery, which in this price range is well, a bit of a flex. The company even claims it’s the first in its price segment to offer that much juice.

If you remember the 4G Hot 60i, it already had respectable endurance with 5,160mAh. This one takes it up several notches. For heavy scrollers, OTT streamers, or folks who don’t want to carry a power bank on weekend trips, this phone could easily be a two-day beast.
We don’t yet know the charging wattage for the 5G variant, but fingers crossed it matches or beats the 45W fast charging of the regular Hot 60i.

While Infinix hasn’t spilled all the display details yet, the Hot 60i 4G came with a 6.78-inch IPS LCD, Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits peak brightness. It’s a safe bet the 5G version will at least match these specs — if not entirely carry them over.
That means smooth scrolling, decent outdoor visibility, and a size that will please those who consume most of their entertainment on their phone screens.
