Is Roadcraft on Xbox Game Pass?
Roadcraft is officially coming to Xbox Game Pass starting September 16th. No more watching enviously as your friend demos cranes and bulldozers without you; it’s launching onto the subscription service after a few months spent as a buy-to-play title. The anticipation reminds me a bit of the months I spent waiting for SnowRunner, checking my Game Pass dashboard compulsively, hoping for that magical “Available Now” tag to pop.
So, if you were holding off and convincing yourself not to buy it full-price, rejoice: Game Pass finally delivers. Here’s what you can expect when it drops:

Is Roadcraft on Xbox?
Yes, Roadcraft is available for the Xbox Series X|S both as a regular purchase via the Microsoft Store and soon via Game Pass. It’s also playable with cloud gaming features (if you have Game Pass Ultimate), giving you flexibility if you’re still waiting for your console to come back from the cousin who “just wants to try one game”.
What’s cool about Roadcraft on Xbox? Honestly, the physics are bonkers in a good way. You get over 40 vehicles, from humble bulldozers to towering cranes, and eight huge maps to make a mess (then clean it up). Multiplayer co-op up to four players means there are plenty of ways for someone to accidentally flip their dump truck or, as happened to me, bury my trailer under a suspiciously wobbly bridge.

Is Roadcraft on PlayStation 5?
Roadcraft launched for PlayStation 5 on 20 May 2025. But and it’s a bit of a bummer, it’s not part of PlayStation Plus or any subscription service at launch. You’ll need to pony up for a fresh copy if you want to play now. Judging from the early PS5 reviews, there was some initial jitteriness: base consoles had a few crashes and visual pop-in, leading to lots of troubleshooting threads and a handful of frustrated players in Reddit comments sharing tales of their two-hour crash nightmares. It's gotten better after patches, but it’s worth double-checking your settings before firing up a massive construction convoy.
