Is Stargate SG 1 Returning to Netflix?
Stargate SG 1 is coming back to Netflix after a long gap. The series has a confirmed return date. It will not be on Netflix everywhere at once though.
Stargate SG 1 will return to Netflix on February 15 2026 in the United States. Reports say the deal covers Netflix US plus a set of other regions that Netflix has not fully listed in public press notes yet.

Fan sites and entertainment news confirm that this is a fresh licensing agreement with MGM which is now owned by Amazon so the show can sit on Netflix even though Prime Video also streams it.
Right now the plan is simple. All ten seasons will arrive together in that new Netflix drop instead of a slow weekly rollout.

For long time fans that means every episode from the pilot Children of the Gods through season ten will be available to binge in one place again.
The return is happening after a three year break. Stargate SG 1 left Netflix around 2022 when the older license expired and the rights focused on Prime Video and some free streaming channels.

Since then new viewers had to jump between platforms or pay for digital copies which made the show harder to reach for casual Netflix users.
The new Netflix deal is not fully global. Articles mention the United States the United Kingdom and parts of Latin America in the first wave of countries.

Canada is not listed in those early reports so Canadian fans will likely need to keep using other platforms for now unless Netflix updates the region list closer to launch.
For India and many other international markets the situation is different. JustWatch data for India shows Stargate SG 1 available on Prime Video and not on Netflix at the moment.

There is no clear public confirmation yet that Netflix India will add the show on the same February date so viewers in India should expect it to stay mainly on Prime Video until Netflix lists it in the local catalog.
Even with the Netflix deal Prime Video and other services will keep the series in many places. GateWorld notes that in the US Stargate SG 1 is also on Prime Video plus free ad supported platforms such as Pluto TV and The Roku Channel where episodes run in live style channels or on demand with ads.

So in 2026 the show will likely sit on more than one streaming service at the same time with Netflix as a major option again but not the only one.
For fans who only care about Netflix the key detail is simple. As of now Stargate SG 1 is not yet back on Netflix.

From February 15 2026 it will stream on Netflix in the US and selected regions with all ten seasons available on day one as long as Netflix does not change the plan.
