Kenneth Walker Injury Update
Kenneth Walker is still on the field for the Seattle Seahawks. He played in their Sunday night game against the Washington Commanders on November 2, 2025. He took a few carries early and caught a couple of passes in the first quarter. But his touches faded after that. The team used him less as the game went on.
Walker is not getting all the work. Zach Charbonnet splits time in the backfield with him since the start of the season. This is because Walker is still managing the effects of an ankle injury from last December. The Seahawks are trying to keep him healthy for the full season. The coaches sometimes limit his snaps and lean on the running back rotation.
Earlier this year, Walker missed games with ankle and oblique injuries. He sat out six games, more than in his first two years. Even when active, he spends fewer snaps on the field than fans expect for a lead running back.
Walker’s stats show he has some good runs. Still, his average yards per carry has dropped a bit since his rookie year. He is still the most explosive runner on the team. But the Seahawks use Charbonnet more in passing situations and to manage Walker’s workload. Coaches do not plan to change this split right now. They want Walker fresher as the season continues.
As of now, Walker is not listed as out or inactive. He is playing through some lingering soreness. The Seahawks will likely keep splitting his snaps to manage his foot and ankle issues for the rest of the year. There is no new major injury — just ongoing management to avoid bigger problems long term.
