Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 1: Vijay Deverakonda's Film Makes a Strong Opening

Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 1

Kingdom dropped into cinemas today, and the box office day 1 talk is heating up everywhere, especially among younger fans watching for their favorite stars. Kingdom has managed to earn around ₹6.07 crore in India net on its first day for all languages so far, going by the latest live updates from Sacnilk at 4 PM IST.

But that’s early data—only the next two hours of advance sales are included, so by 10 PM, final estimates are likely to nudge up or down. For now, that ₹6 crore-plus is the figure everyone’s buzzing about. Occupancy in Telugu regions hit a solid 60% overall, with morning shows at 63.56% and afternoon shows at 56.52%; evening figures will fill as more shows finish.

@PrabhuMahshion2 shares that Kingdom opened its Day 1 with positive word of mouth.

Kingdom Day 1 Tamil Occupancy

According to Sacnilk, Kingdom’s day 1 Tamil (2D) theater occupancy started slowly. Morning shows hit just 13.66%—not exactly the best, but for a Thursday release, that’s kind of normal in Tamil regions. By afternoon, things got a little better, with occupancy rising to 21.66%.

But for the evening and night shows, as of the latest update, there’s still nothing posted—literally 0%. Maybe that data just isn’t in yet, or maybe fans in Tamil Nadu are waiting for the weekend to catch this one on the big screen.

Telugu (2D) Regional Occupancy on Day 1

According to Sacnilk,  Day 1 for Kingdom’s Telugu (2D) run in theaters gave us some real talking points. Hyderabad stood out first—overall occupancy was a punchy 74%, but what’s wild is morning shows hit 76% and the afternoon still managed a healthy 72%. Warangal, though, stole the show with a sky-high 90% overall, 87% in the morning, and a crazy 93% by afternoon. Fans in Warangal seem to have practically flooded cinemas, and honestly, that’s some serious energy for a weekday.

Vijayawada, Vizag, Guntur, Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar, and Kakinada all reported 65-83% occupancy for morning and afternoon shows. In Vizag, you could feel the hype—morning went up to 83%, and even the afternoon held strong at 79%. If you’re following on Instagram, local moviegoers dropped a bunch of stories from packed Vizag multiplexes, mostly excited group selfies and a few “All tickets sold out for 2 pm!” screen grabs.

Now, not everywhere saw that kind of madness. Bengaluru only reached 34.5% overall with a sharp drop to 27% by the afternoon—maybe city crowds are holding off for the weekend, or just not feeling the midweek rush. Chennai, surprisingly, hit 34% overall, and between 29% and 39% for morning and afternoon. Mumbai and NCR trailed with noticeably lower numbers: Mumbai at just 21% and NCR at 31.5%.
