Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 4: Vijay Deverakonda's Film Crosses ₹40 Crore Mark

Kingdom Box Office Collection Day 4

According to sacnilk, "Kingdom" had a pretty interesting journey on its first Sunday in theaters—especially for fans who keep an eagle eye on box office numbers. The movie’s day 4 India net collection, across all languages, sits at about ₹7.00Cr (early estimates), which bumps its total for four days to ₹40.50Cr. That’s not blockbuster territory, but it is respectable for a drama with a female lead, especially when you consider how the collections have wobbled since the opening.

If you’re someone following "Kingdom" because of its themes—female-driven mystery, strong character arcs, or just the overall buzz around hunting wives—you’re probably noticing these numbers come as little surprise. Day 1 opened with a solid ₹18Cr, mostly from Telugu audiences, but by day 2, that dropped quite a bit—down to ₹7.5Cr. Saturday picked up a bit (₹8Cr), before Sunday leveled out again with the ₹7Cr mark.

As noted by @Single00777 on X, Kingdom had a strong opening day but saw a disappointing weekend, with flat collections and no significant growth on Saturday and Sunday.

Kingdom Day 4 Tamil Occupancy

Talking Tamil audience, things look different. Day 4 (Sunday) occupancy in Tamil-speaking regions was notably modest, hovering at an overall 21.80%. Not jaw-dropping, but it's revealing about how the movie’s themes and maybe even star cast play out differently state-to-state. The morning was slow at just 11.92%, but the afternoon and evening piqued gently to about 28.33% and 26.39%, before winding down at 20.57% in the night.

If you look closer at the big cities, Chennai posted relatively higher interest with 33.25% overall (peaks at 47% in the afternoon), but in Madurai or Kochi, it was damn near sleepy, often under 14%. Oddly, there was a wild swing in Pondicherry (one night show at 90%, but not at all consistent). Dindigul had one of the biggest spikes at 53.25%. So, while you can see pockets of fandom turning out—maybe word of mouth, regional reviews, or even a favorite actor—it doesn’t scream mainstream hit in Tamil Nadu.

Telugu (2D) Occupancy in Theaters

Now, if we swing over to the Telugu market, the numbers look way livelier. On Sunday, the movie had an overall Telugu occupancy of 42.89%—which is honestly solid for a day 4, especially given the film’s genre. Morning shows started sluggish (30.86%), but by the afternoon, the pace picked up (53.28%) and stayed pretty strong in the evening (50.52%). Night dipped, but not drastically (36.88%).

What’s fun about these numbers is looking at Hyderabad, which pulled no punches: overall occupancy 47.75%, peaking at 57% in the afternoon, then 56% in the evening. It shows that the main metros, especially Hyderabad, are still home base for this kind of story—probably fans who don’t mind a bit of a slow-burn mystery, people who love female antiheroes, the kind who get dragged into drama and complicated friendships. Even smaller hubs like Warangal and Guntur posted 50% and 47.5% respectively, not bad for a fourth day.

But, here’s the thing: It’s not all one massive success. Nizamabad, NCR, and even a usually film-crazy town like Mumbai had single-digit showings in some slots, with only a late rally at Mumbai’s night shows (56%). This reads like a movie speaking to a specific audience—a big, vocal one in some cities and a much quieter group elsewhere.
