Kishkindhapuri is hitting ZEE5 on October 17, 2025, and honestly, I’m a little jealous of anyone who managed to snag a ticket to its theatrical run. A bunch of my friends had this on their “must-watch” list, but, as usual, between movie timings and life stuff (someone’s kids got chickenpox, another couldn’t get time off from work), most of us missed the big screen. The buzz around Kishkindhapuri is really a supernatural horror story, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran. Fun fact: a colleague raved about Sreenivas’s performance, saying, “He’s finally got his groove back!” and, for Anupama, it was a much-needed bounce-back after her last flop. Sometimes I wonder if actors feel as nervous waiting for OTT reviews as regular folks do over their group chat reactions. The chemistry between the leads reportedly clicked, and even people who aren’t “horror fans” found something to sink their teeth into or in one case, “hid behind their spouse for half the movie.” Guilty.
