Mahindra XEV 9S Launch Date
Mahindra is bringing a new electric SUV soon. It’s called Mahindra XEV 9S. The launch event is set for November 27, 2025 in Bengaluru. So, if you are waiting for it, you will get all the details by the end of November.
The Mahindra XEV 9S is a 7-seater SUV, built from the ground up as an electric car on the new INGLO platform. This isn’t just a gas car converted to electric. It’s made to be electric right from the start.
When it comes to price, expect it in the ballpark of 35 lakh to 40 lakh rupees ex-showroom. It will be Mahindra’s flagship electric SUV. Actual sales may begin early 2026.
What’s in the car? XEV 9S has three big screens on the dashboard. There’s a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a central touchscreen, and a screen for the co-driver. You get a panoramic sunroof. The cabin is roomy. Second row seats slide back, so you get more legroom. The steering wheel has an illuminated Mahindra logo.
Driving comfort is solid. Dual zone climate control handles temperature for everyone. Front seats come with ventilation. Ambient lighting can change colors. Multiple wireless phone charging options are there. Sound system has sixteen speakers. Entry and start are keyless.
On safety, you get seven airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring, and a 360-degree camera. There’s an advanced driver assist system for extra support.
Power details like battery range and charging time will likely match other new Mahindra EVs. You can expect well over 500 km range, but official specs will be clear only at the launch.
On the outside, expect bold design. There’s a blanked-off grille, LED headlights, aero wheels, flush handles, and connected taillamps. Size is big, fitting families or groups.
Mahindra XEV 9S stands apart because it brings full electric tech and big size together. There’s no direct rival yet. But the car could affect sales for Tata Harrier EV, BYD Atto 3, and others in similar segments.
