Marvel Zombies Release Date
Marvel Zombies, the highly anticipated animated miniseries from Marvel Studios Animation, is set to premiere on September 24, 2025. That’s right: the zombie apocalypse (at least the superhero-flavored kind) is making its official, gory debut just in time for the Halloween season. Marvel Studios announced on Instagram that Marvel Zombies, a four-part Marvel Animation event, will premiere on September 24, exclusively on Disney+.

It’s part of Phase Six in the MCU—and only four episodes, which feels both frustratingly brief and kinda thrilling. Whether you’ve followed every rumor since the “What If…Zombies?!” episode or just want to see what “superhero horror” looks like when Marvel goes TV-MA, consider this your zombie-watch kickoff.
Where to Watch Marvel Zombies?
Marvel Zombies will stream exclusively on Disney+ in the US and globally, dropping all four episodes at once. In India and select other regions, you’ll find it on Disney+ Hotstar, right next to all your What If…? rewatches. A word of warning for the scare-averse: Disney’s already pushing the TV-MA (mature) rating, so expect more guts, chaos, and genuinely freaky moments than your average Spidey fare.
Marvel Studios teased on Instagram Marvel Zombies with the question, “Who will save us from our heroes?” The four-part Marvel Animation event streams September 24 exclusively on Disney+

Personally, I’m prepping a buddy watch—grab snacks, close the curtains, maybe keep a flashlight handy. Zombie Wanda isn’t for the faint of heart.
Marvel Zombies Cast
You want a star-studded scream fest? Here’s your lineup: Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Awkwafina (Katy), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Dominique Thorne (Ironheart), Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and more—many reprising their live-action MCU roles in animated form.
There’s even a hint of a few new faces in classic comic zombie fashion (maybe some surprise cameos, if Marvel’s being mischievous). The voice cast alone guarantees this isn’t some side-project spin-off; it’s a full-on Marvel multiverse event, just a little more bitey.
