Realme P4 Pro 5G Teased for Late August Launch with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 50MP OIS Camera

The P-series from Realme has always had this certain flair. And now, Realme is teasing something new on Flipkart “Coming Soon” banners with no name, but plenty of hints that point straight toward one name: Realme P4 Pro 5G.

Let’s be honest Realme isn’t exactly subtle with their launches. Flipkart’s dedicated microsite is already live, proudly announcing the arrival of a new P-series phone “soon.” If leaked timelines hold, we’re looking at a late August 2025 reveal in India. That lines up neatly with the brand’s habit of dropping its P-series refresh just before the festive shopping season kicks in.

Leaks point to a pretty competitive tag — somewhere around ₹25,000 for the 8GB + 128GB base model. That price bracket is interesting it’s like Realme is deliberately stepping on the toes of iQOO, Redmi, and OnePlus’s mid-tier devices. If history repeats itself, there will likely be a couple of RAM/storage variants, with the top one touching the ₹30K mark thanks to a mix of faster charging and higher RAM.

Industry whispers — and a certain model number RMX5116 sighting on Geekbench — strongly suggest this is the P4 Pro 5G. From the Geekbench listing and tipsters’ claims, the P4 Pro is shaping up to be more of an upper-midrange beast than just a “pretty display” phone. Here’s what’s floating around in the leak space: Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC (octa-core, with peak core at 2.8GHz).

On Twitter, Abhishek Yadav shared that the upcoming Realme P4 Pro (model RMX5116) will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, have an Adreno 722 GPU, run Android 15, and come with 12GB of RAM.

Display: Possibly a 6.8–6.82-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. Refresh rate? Could be 120Hz (some say 144Hz if Realme really wants to flex). RAM & Storage: Up to 12GB RAM (LPDDR5) and likely 256GB storage in higher variants.

Camera: Rear: 50MP Sony IMX896 with OIS + 50MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth/macro. Front: Either 16MP or a rumored upgraded 50MP selfie sensor (some confusion here- might differ between P4 and P4 Pro).

Battery: This one’s tricky. Some leaks claim 6000mAh with 100W charging, others say 7000mAh Titan cell with 80W. OS: Android 15 (Realme UI likely v6 or newer). Cooling: 7000mm² vapor chamber cooling — likely aimed at gamers.

Realme’s teaser copy is already shouting about “pioneering” changes, and if we go by previous P-series bragging rights, the P4 Pro might bring:

Hyper Vision Chip for display enhancement that think better HDR tone mapping, smoother video playback.

AI-powered photography— night mode that doesn’t just guess exposure, but actually understands colour grading like a pro editor.

A design allegedly close to the Realme 15— slim, curved panels, lighter than most 7000mAh brick-phones out there. Sunlight— ready display- likely pushing 2000+ nits peak brightness.

Gaming tweaks—  the VC cooling system hints at a nod to the mobile esports crowd. If they stick with that curved 4D glass design from the P3 Pro and manage to integrate a behemoth battery without making it feel like a power bank, this could be one of those unicorn phones—  big battery, big screen, still sleek in hand.
