Rise and Fall Start Date: Contestants and Where to Watch

Rise and Fall Start Date

Rise and Fall kicks off its wild journey on September 6, 2025, with episodes dropping daily—for free, no less—on Amazon MX Player and a whole circus of platforms like Fire TV, Prime Video, and even Google TV. Not gonna lie, the timing is genius: the show arrives just as the weather is shifting (almost like the Rulers’ and Workers’ fortunes, heh).

Taran Adarsh (@taran_adarsh) revealed on Twitter that Amazon MX Player’s new reality show Rise and Fall, hosted by Ashneer Grover, drops its trailer ahead of its premiere on 6 September 2025, featuring 16 celebrities in a high-stakes power struggle — free to stream.

For me, the anticipation’s real—I remember the buzz in the office when someone spilled the date, snacks practically flying as everyone scrambled to clear their evening schedules. New show rituals, you know. No endless wait, no cryptic delays—just a proper launch date and a sense that, for once, the game doesn’t leave fans hanging.

Rise and Fall Contestants

The cast of Rise and Fall rocks a little bit of everything: actors, comedians, influencers, and, well, a surprise or two. Yes, the names are out there—Arjun Bijlani, Dhanashree Verma, the ever-hilarious Kiku Sharda, and the unshakeable Kubbra Sait, plus apparently Akriti Negi from Splitsvilla fame and a handful of yet-to-be-unveiled faces. Sixteen personalities locked in a luxury-vs-basement game—the energy’s bound to get spicy.

A pal of mine (massive Kiku fan) once said, “If Kiku can’t survive the basement, none of us stand a chance.” Fair. The twist? The Rulers lounge in swanky penthouses, the Workers hustle down in the (probably literal) basement, and, of course, alliances and betrayals are pretty much promised. The reality gods are blessing us with classic power flips, class divides, and some unfiltered drama.

Quick glimpse (no spoilers, promise):

  • Arjun Bijlani: TV darling with a pretty shrewd mind

  • Dhanashree Verma: Influencer and dancer, not shy about tough times (her quips in the trailer have already sparked meme wars)

  • Kiku Sharda: The jester with serious strategy

  • Kubbra Sait: Grit, coolness, unpredictable vibe

  • Akriti Negi: Roadies and Splitsvilla vet—knows how reality TV eats its young.

And apparently, there’s a “Rebel Kid” on the roster—all I can say is, may the odds be ever in their favor. Nobody’s quite sure who’ll go from Worker to Ruler overnight; that’s half the thrill. Below is an official trailer launch by
Amazon MX Player:

Where to Watch Rise and Fall?

Everywhere that matters for streaming in India, especially if you like your reality TV binge-ready and your wallet untouched—Amazon MX Player rolls out the red carpet, free of charge, starting September 6. There’s something outrageously convenient about being able to watch from your phone in a traffic jam, only to pick up the same drama on your big TV at home. (One co-worker confessed to slipping in an episode during lunch—bold move.)

Full list of ways to tune in:

  • Amazon MX Player app: the mothership, mobile and connected TVs

  • Amazon shopping app: yes, seriously, next to your groceries

  • Prime Video

  • Google TV, Xiaomi TV, Fire TV, Airtel Xstream: smart TV people, you’re covered

One cool touch: you don’t need to jump through subscription hoops or remember fifty passwords—just hit play. There’s a certain democratizing charm to that, to be honest. Makes the “rise and fall” of TV access as dramatic as the game itself.
