How to Play Shillong Teer?
Shillong Teer is a traditional lottery game played in Meghalaya, India, combining archery with a betting system. It's organized by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association and is legal under the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act. The game is played six days a week (Monday to Saturday) and involves two rounds of archery.
Game Format
Rounds: Two rounds are played daily:
First Round: 50 archers shoot 30 arrows each.
Second Round: 50 archers shoot 20 arrows each.
Target: Archers aim at a target called "Skum," located 50 yards away.
Betting: Players bet on a two-digit number (00–99), predicting the last two digits of the total number of arrows that hit the target.
Prize Structure
₹1 Ticket:
- First Round: ₹80 for a correct prediction.
- Second Round: ₹60 for a correct prediction.
- Both Rounds Correct: Up to ₹4,000, depending on the bet.
Tickets are available in denominations ranging from ₹1 to ₹100, with prize money scaling accordingly.
