The Cribs “Selling a Vibe” Album Release Date
The new album from The Cribs, “Selling a Vibe”, drops January 9, 2026. Yep, you read that right: after five (very long) years, the Jarman brothers are officially back, and I can almost hear the scratchy harmonies and no-nonsense guitar getting ready to blast out of the speakers already.
Thecribs announced that their first album in five years, SELLING A VIBE, will be released on January 9, 2026. They also revealed that the lead single, SUMMER SEIZURES, is out now with a new video, and a UK tour is set for March 2026.

If you remember how their music feels a bit like someone inviting you to jump on their bicycle’s handlebars and race through your old neighborhood, this release is going to be a nostalgia-packed ride. I’ve already marked the date in my phone calendar because let’s be honest, it’s the first good reason to look forward to January in a while.
The Cribs’ New Song
Their lead single, “Summer Seizures,” is out RIGHT NOW and, well, I may have looped it a dangerous number of times already. It’s got that spark the Cribs do best: raw, slightly loud, a tinge of classic British summer melancholia wrapped in real indie pop hooks. Below is an official The Cribs’ New Song: Summer Seizure

Ryan Jarman described it as “a song about love, tragedy, and learning to live with yourself, all set during summertime in NYC,” which feels both honest and oddly uplifting, even if you’re sitting in a very rainy living room nowhere near New York. The music video’s shot on gritty 16mm film, and there’s something so real about their slightly messy energy. Even my cat perked up when the chorus kicked in.
The Cribs’ March 2026 UK Tour
If you’ve been hanging on for live shows, The Cribs are revving up for a string of gigs this March, and it’s a proper run across classic UK spots. Here’s the fresh lineup—so close you can almost smell the pre-show nachos.
