The First Descendant Maintenance: Today
It’s that time again—maintenance day for The First Descendant, and yes, this one’s actually kind of exciting (believe it or not, as someone who usually dreads “servers under maintenance” popups popping up when all I want is a quick round before bed). For anyone still a bit bleary-eyed or panicked about login errors: don’t worry, it’s all planned, and here’s exactly when things are going down. The servers are offline from 2025.09.03 (Wed) 22:00 until 2025.09.04 (Thu) 08:00 PDT (that’s 1:00–11:00 EDT, 14:00 JST Sep 4 to midnight on the 5th, 7:00–17:00 CEST, and 15:00–01:00 AEST).
The game, just so it’s clear, will not be available anytime during those windows—yeah, not even for that quick login to grab dailies or check a stat, so maybe do what most of us do: stare at update notes, chat about your dream build on Discord, or, if you’re like me, catch up on work emails you’ve been ignoring.
