TVS Raider Dual Disc Launched

TVS has launched the Raider Dual Disc in India. It is the new variant of the Raider commuter bike. The model focuses on style and better braking performance.

The Raider Dual Disc uses the same 124.8 cc single cylinder engine. It produces around 11.2 horsepower with smooth power delivery. The gearbox is a five speed manual.

TVS claims it gives good mileage for daily use. The biggest change here is the braking setup. It has disc brakes at both front and rear. This improves stopping control compared to the earlier front disc rear drum version.

TVS says the upgrade helps riders feel safer at higher speeds. The design is sporty with sharp body panels. It has a LED headlight and LED taillight.

The fuel tank is sculpted to give a bold look. The seat is long enough for two adults. The Raider Dual Disc comes with a digital instrument display. It shows speed, gear position, fuel level and trip data.

Some models have Bluetooth connectivity for call and message alerts. There is an Eco mode for efficient riding and a Power mode for quicker response.

Suspension uses telescopic forks at the front. The rear gets a gas charged monoshock. These help maintain ride comfort on city roads. Tyres are tubeless with alloy wheels.

TVS offers bright color options. These include yellow, black and red finishes. Graphics are minimal but add to the sporty tone.

Price is around ₹93,800. It sits slightly higher than the standard Raider. At this price it competes with Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 125.

The TVS Raider Dual Disc is aimed at young riders. It balances style, features and practical running cost. The dual disc setup is its main selling point. It could appeal to those wanting reliable braking with a sporty touch.
